Queen Elizabeth was very particular regarding her photos. There is one part of her body she didn't want to put out on display in her photographs.

Queen Elizabeth Reportedly Doesn't Like Her Hands

John Rankin Waddell, one of the 10 photographers commissioned to take the late Queen's portraits for her Golden Jubilee in 2002, recounted working with Her Majesty in the recent episode of the Tea with Twiggy podcast. The British photographer remembered King Charles' mother as someone with a "really great sense of humor." He also recalled feeling "a wave of empowerment" when the Queen walked into the Throne Room for the photoshoot.

"I've never felt that aura. She was just so funny from the minute she walked in," he told Twiggy, 73, People reported. "I was like, 'I really want to photograph you holding the sword,' and she said, 'I don't like my hands.' And I was like, that's the best 'get out' for holding the sword," he added with a laugh.

"I'm probably not supposed to say that, but what I loved about her is she's so, so smart and everything that she was saying had this amazing twist to it. It was just really brilliant."

Queen Elizabeth's Purple Hands Hinted About Her Deteriorating Health?

It remains unclear why the Queen said she didn't like her hands. However, she had multiple photos with purple hands in the past.

Queen Elizabeth usually wear white gloves during royal duties. However, her hands were visible in her last photos released to the public.

Days before she passed away, Queen Elizabeth welcomed the U.K.'s new Prime Minister, Liz Truss, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on Sept. 6. Australian-based Dr. Deb Cohen-Jones examined their pictures and noticed the Queen's "mottled hands", which reportedly could be an indication of "peripheral vascular disease," a blood circulation disorder.

"It looks like there is possibly evidence of peripheral vascular disease. It's a blood circulation disorder that causes the blood vessels outside of your heart and brain to narrow, block, or spasm," Cohen-Jones explained to Mail Online following the Queen's death on Sept. 8. "It can sometimes result in heart failure. If your peripheral circulation is that poor, organs aren't receiving a good blood supply. It can be a sign of multi-organ failure."

Fans Worried About King Charles' Red And Chafed Fingers?

King Charles also got royal fans worried when the netizens noticed his red, raw and chafed fingers when he met the crowd outside Llandaff Cathedral after taking over the crown.

"There's now been a few photos surfacing of the now King Charles' very, VERY swollen, red hands... Is this man OK? William might need to start preparing himself," one person tweeted.

"I've been wondering for a while now ... what's going on with Charles' big red hands?" another concerned netizen asked.
