At the time, King Charles was still married to Princess Diana, so it wasn't surprising to know that Prince Harry and Prince William did not support the relationship.
Prince Harry Explains Why He Didn't Want King Charles To Wed Queen Consort Camilla
In his memoir Spare, Prince Harry also made some shocking revelations about Queen Consort Camilla. For instance, he admitted that he and Prince William tried to talk King Charles out of marrying his second wife. But in the end, the Duke of Sussex realized that even his dad deserved to be happy.
During his interview with Anderson Cooper, Prince Harry further explained why he didn't want King Charles to wed Queen Consort Camilla.
"We didn't think it was necessary. We thought that it was gonna cause more harm than good and that if he was now with his person, that— surely that's enough. Why go that far when you don't necessarily need to? We wanted him to be happy. And we saw how happy he was with her. So, at the time, it was, 'OK,'" he said (via The Daily Beast).

Prince Harry Alleges Queen Consort Camilla May Have Leaked Some Stories To The Press?
However, Meghan Markle's husband also made another shocking claim about his stepmom. He suggested that Queen Consort Camilla could've been behind some of the stories that were leaked to the press.
"Shortly after our private meetings with her, she began to develop her long-term strategy, a campaign directed at marriage and with time, the Crown (with the blessing of our father, we supposed). New stories started appearing in all the newspapers about her conversations with Willy, stories which recounted lots of small details, none of which came from my brother, of course," Prince Harry said (via Radar Online).
Prince Harry Likens His First Meeting With Queen Consort Camilla With Getting An Injection?
In Spare, the Duke of Sussex also detailed his first meeting with Queen Consort Camilla. He admitted that he was worried that the latter would become his wicked stepmother. The dad of two also said that meeting King Charles' wife was like getting an injection, and all he needed to do was close his eyes so he won't feel it.
"I remember wondering...if she would be cruel to me if she would be like all the evil stepmothers in the stories. Willy had been suspicious of the Other Woman for a long time, which confused and tormented him; when those suspicions were confirmed, he felt agonizing remorse for not having done or said anything before," he wrote (via Yahoo! News).
As of writing, Queen Consort Camilla has not yet responded to Prince Harry's claims.
