Princess Charlotte was spotted sticking her tongue out in public or having a tantrum that Prince William and Kate Middleton would attend to. Photos of the Cambridge kid depict the realities of royal life with young children and demonstrate that, regardless of status, children would always be children.
Royal photographer Zak Hussein recounted catching Prince Charlotte being her cheeky self on the Isle of Wight in 2019. Kate Middleton and Prince William organized and competed in a charity regatta for eight charities they are patrons of in July that year.
However, things got more interesting when Princess Charlotte stole the show from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Zak Hussein described the moment, stating:
“She was with Kate and suddenly there was this huge crowd there gathered to see them and Charlotte just for a split second stuck her tongue out at the crowd. There’s a great moment where Kate’s just kind of pulling her face laughing and sort of embarrassed by her daughter.”
It was previously reported that Princess Charlotte had actually spotted her grandfather, Michael Middleton, and pulled faces at him. During Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding in 2018, the daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton was also seen pulling the same face from the car as she was being driven to St. George’s Chapel.

Meanwhile, Yahoo News reported that RoyalCanCams noticed that the only daughter of Prince William has a habit of swooshing her ponytail around and playing with her hair. One photo of Kate Middleton’s daughter during her first day of school at St. Thomas’s Battersea demonstrated this habit.
Interestingly, netizens pointed out that Kate Middleton is also fond of herself too as she was seen playing with her ponytail as she spoke to teaching staff during a video call in February 2021. Getting stuck into a good hair twizzle is not the only habit Princess Charlotte inherited from her mother as she is also seen copying Kate’s curtsy after departing a festive service with the rest of the royal family.
