Mike Tindall shared an incident between him and his wife, Zara Tindall, when she was about to deliver their third child in an episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! According to him, she almost choked him to death.

In the said episode, Mike and his costars, Boy George and Owen Warner, talked about pain. The former rugby player recounted how his wife's delivery also left him in pain.
During the conversation, Warner joked about George having some "well-waxed balls," adding, "I'm not saying it would be worse than childbirth."
At that point, Mike shared his wife's third pregnancy and how it left him in anguish while she was in labor.
"Lucas was rapid. Third one. As we got our stuff to go to hospital, she got out of the bath, she could barely stand, she was shaking. The midwife was like, 'She's not making the hospital,'" Princess Anne's son-in-law said, Express reported.
"She was like, 'You don't want to be delivering in the car.' Into the gym, two gym mats down in the bathroom. But yeah."
Whether Zara was in pain, he said, "She was, it was fast though, from that moment. She almost choked me to death. You can't say anything can you? 'Can you let go, you're really hurting me?!'"
Apparently, he was hurt, but it didn't mean that Zara was violent. Princess Anne's daughter was in labor at the time.

While talking with his fellow celebrities in the jungle, the former athlete opened up about his personal life, especially his relationship with Princess Anne's daughter Zara. According to him, they met in the 2003 Rugby World Cup at the Manly Wharf bar in Sydney. They immediately hit it off.
"I was at the World Cup, she was out watching. I got dropped from the semi-final," he said on the reality show, Hello! magazine reported. "I was [expletive] off and so I went for a beer with another guy who got dropped and a guy who was over [in Sydney]."
"They'd met her before and they introduced us and then got chatting from there."
For their first actual date, Mike said they went for lunch locally and ended up quite a boozy one.
"Then we figured out that we both quite like getting smashed. It was a good start," he added.
As their relationship thrived, Zara took it to the next level by inviting him to join her at the North Cotswold Ball. They became official in 2004.
In 2010, Mike proposed to Zara. However, he made sure that he would catch her by surprise.
"I was upstairs, plucking up the nerve to do it, while Zara was downstairs watching television," he told The Daily Mail. "It was all about shock value—I wanted to catch her when it was quiet, and she wasn't expecting anything."
