Prince William is the future king of Britain. Growing up, he was described as more short-tempered compared to his younger brother, Prince Harry. But despite the criticisms, the Prince of Wales still garnered the respect of Britons all over the world.

Prince Harry Claims Prince William Was Tipsy On The Day Of His Wedding To Kate Middleton?

In his book Spare, Prince Harry claimed that Prince William got away with almost everything. After all, he was "the spare", and his brother is "the heir." When the Duke of Sussex faced backlash for wearing a Nazi uniform at a Halloween party, he was forced to apologize for his mistake.

But in his memoir, Meghan Markle's husband revealed that it was Prince William and Kate Middleton's idea for him to wear the Nazi uniform because they thought it was funny.

Flashback to 2011, Prince William and Middleton tied the knot. And the couple was the image of perfection. But what royal fans didn't know was that something else happened behind closed doors.

Prince William Looked Haggard On The Morning Of His Wedding To Kate Middleton?

According to Prince Harry, Prince William seemingly had too much rum the night before his wedding. So, when he picked him up, Prince Harry couldn't help but remember that his brother smelled like alcohol.

"I was stunned when I went to pick him up in the morning and saw his haggard face and red eyes; It seemed that he had not slept at all," Prince Harry wrote (via Mirror UK).

The Duke of Sussex jokingly offered Prince William some mints to get rid of the scent of alcohol that was reeking from his mouth.

Prince Harry also said that a tipsy Prince William wanted to greet the royal fans that were waiting for him outside Westminster Abbey. However, their security advised them not to.

"Willy, already tipsy from the rum, shouted: 'Let's go down and see them!'" he said.

Prince William Denied Attacking Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's Husband Claimed

Other than that, Prince Harry also detailed his physical altercation with Prince William after the latter called his wife "rude" and "difficult."

"[William] set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripped my necklace, and knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out," Prince Harry wrote (via Marie Claire).

But just before Prince William left Prince Harry's home, he reportedly told his younger brother that he didn't need to tell Markle what happened.

"You mean that you attacked me?" Prince Harry asked Prince William. To which he replied, "I didn't attack you, Harold."
