Prince William is one of the most popular members of the royal family. Not only because he is the first son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana but also because he has been second in the line of succession to the British throne.
Reports have it that Prince William is being prepared to rule the monarchy. There were even claims that Queen Elizabeth has been training Kate Middleton’s husband herself, making sure that her grandson is well-equipped with all the knowledge and skills he needs when he finally takes the throne.

Now, new reports are claiming that Queen Elizabeth has urged Prince William to stop flying helicopters as Prince Charles plans to “make changes” to the monarchy. Keep on reading to know more details.
Queen Elizabeth Warned Prince William?
Queen Elizabeth is said to be “terrified” that disaster could strike the palace anew amid reports that Prince Charles is planning huge changes in the monarchy should he finally become king. Because of this, Her Majesty allegedly told Prince William to stop flying helicopters with his family.
An unnamed source close to Queen Elizabeth stated that the idea keeps the monarch awake at night and she is understandably very worried. The claim came after royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti stated that Prince Charles is planning to “slim down” the monarchy when he takes the throne.
Talking to Us Weekly, Jonathan Sacerdoti said:
“Prince Charles will make some changes. It’s always been rumored that he wants to slim down the working royals at the core of the family.”

Most, if not all, royal fans are aware that the royal family has already been slimmed down over the last two years. With Meghan Markle and Prince Harry quitting their senior royal roles to live in the U.S. and Prince Andrew stepping back from his royal duties amid a s*xual assault lawsuit, the Firm only has Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton as senior working royals.
However, under Prince Charles’ reign, Jonathan said the father of Prince William would “formalize the slimming down” so that it does not seem like the “result of circumstances.” Also, amid the health challenges that Queen Elizabeth has been facing lately, the husband of Camilla Parker-Bowles and his eldest son have been taking on more and more duties that resemble those they would undertake full-time when each of them becomes king.
Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti furthered:
“Prince Charles has always been a hardworking royal and Prince William, too. But the more they get to do now, the more the baton is being handed over. They’re getting used to some of those roles for when they themselves are monarch.”
As for what the British monarchy under Prince William would look like, royal commentator Charlie Lankston told Express UK:
“They are making small but very important changes, opening up the monarchy to a more modern point of view, not perhaps in a way [that] is noticeable every single day.”
He went on to say that:
“But bit by bit they have helped the monarchy to evolve, to embrace new traditions, and to maintain the important heritage of the past while saying ‘a few of the things that we used to do are seen to be very stuffy. They are very stuffy–here’s ways we can maintain the tradition behind these things without making it appear as though we’re completely ignorant to what the rest of the world is doing and how they’re living.”
Prince William And Kate Middleton To Grace St. Patrick’s Day After Two Years
Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton are said to attend the St. Patrick’s Day Parade for the first time in two years.
An official statement from the palace read:
“The Duke of Cambridge, Colonel of the Irish Guards, accompanied by The Duchess of Cambridge, will visit the 1st Battalion Irish Guards at the St. Patrick's Day Parade, Mons Barracks in Aldershot on Thursday 17th March. This will be the first time The Duke and Duchess have attended the parade since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton missed last year’s parade after it was canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, while the 2020 parade was canceled because the majority of the regiment was deployed overseas.
The statement from Kensington Palace also revealed that the Cambridge couple would present shamrock sprigs to officers and guardsmen, who would then hand them out to the soldiers.
Kate Middleton is also tasked to present the Irish Wolf Hound regimental mascot. The parade would then conclude with a march-past with Prince William taking the salute.
