Prince Harry Asked Prince William If He Could Wed At Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral But He Refused?

In Spare, Prince Harry claimed that he phoned Prince William to ask for his input about his upcoming wedding to Meghan Markle. Prince Harry wanted advice on where they should hold the ceremony.

But when he told Prince William that he was thinking about tying the knot at Westminster Abbey, the second in line to the throne said that he couldn’t have his ceremony there because that’s where he and Kate Middleton tied the knot.

Prince Harry then told Prince William that he was also thinking about St. Paul’s Cathedral, the venue where King Charles and Princess Diana wed. Yet again, the Prince of Wales shut down his idea and said that the venue is too grand.

Prince William And Prince Harry Were Not Each Other’s Best Man At Their Weddings?

Meanwhile, Prince Harry also made other shocking claims about Prince William in his memoir Spare. The dad of two revealed that he wasn’t really his brother’s best man when he tied the knot in 2011. Rather, it was all just for show.

A source told Daily Mail fired back by saying that Prince William wasn’t also Prince Harry’s real best man in 2018.

“There have long been rumors in Harry’s circle that there was another best man, in secret. William was the public-facing best man but not the sole best man, nor the true best man in Harry’s eyes,” the source said.

Prince Harry’s real best man might have been polo player Jack Mann, who also served as an usher at his wedding.
