Queen Elizabeth is not getting any younger, and sources are claiming that the monarch wants nothing more than for her grandsons to patch things up while she’s still around.
Throughout the past couple of years, the queen has been secretly dealing with Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud, but he’s finally had enough.
Queen Elizabeth Wrote A Letter To Prince Harry
Woman’s Day, in its Jan. 31 issue, claimed that Queen Elizabeth wrote a letter to Prince Harry urging him to come home for two important reasons. First, the monarch wants Prince Harry to extend an olive branch to Prince William. Second, the queen wants to meet Lili and reunite with Archie while she still has the chance.
An unnamed source claimed that the queen opted for a stern note in her letter to Prince Harry, but she also made sure to include some choice words to convince her grandson that it’s finally time to come home.
“The queen ended her correspondence with a heartfelt plea for him to please come home and to bring the children. Archie is almost three and she’s never met Lilibet, who is named after her. The queen was very matter of fact about her advancing years and has told Harry she wants to see those children before it’s too late,” the unnamed source said.
Queen Elizabeth Wants Prince William, Prince Harry To Reconcile
The unnamed source also said that the queen is gearing up for a big year ahead because of her upcoming Platinum Jubilee. And one of her hopes is for Prince William and Prince Harry to finally sort out their differences when they attend the event.
“She’s tired of waiting for everyone to sort out their own messes and is personally intervening in everything. She’s worked hard for this celebration and she’s not allowing a single family member to ruin it for her,” the unnamed source said.
Even though the queen knows the reason behind Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud, she still ordered the brothers to put an end to this nonsense.
“But the queen has personally ordered – that’s ordered, not requested – for this nonsense between them to stop,” the unnamed source said.
Prince William, Prince Harry Refused To Extend An Olive Branch
According to the source, Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud dragged a little too long because the brothers weren’t willing to reach a compromise.
“William, it must be said, was not prepared to negotiate. He didn’t help matters at all when he refused to have lunch with his brother and only joined them for the tense talks. They might be grown men but they’re not above a telling-off from their grandmother, and she is going to demand that they meet face to face to sort out their differences and call a truce before jubilee celebrations begin in June. Both Harry and William can be stubborn and hotheaded, but there’s only one person in the world who can put an end to that – their granny. If Harry knows what’s good for him, he’ll be on the next flight to London,” the unnamed source concluded.
Prince Harry Could Attend Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee
According to reports, it’s possible for Prince Harry to fly to the United Kingdom to attend the queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June. After all, he had secret talks with Prince Charles about his living arrangements while he was back home.
Initially, reports claimed that the Duke of Sussex cannot travel to the United Kingdom due to some security issues. But Prince Charles reportedly offered to share Clarence House with his son when he visits the United Kingdom.
But even if Prince Harry will attend the queen’s Platinum Jubilee, it’s unlikely for the brothers to use this time to hash out their differences. Prince William and Prince Harry already met a couple of times before but they have not reached a milestone in their relationship.

Prince William, Prince Harry’s Relationship Still Distant
Just recently, another source claimed that Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship remains distant.
“William and Harry are as far apart as it’s possible to be — emotionally and physically. Their relationship is at rock bottom. William’s raging with Harry after the Oprah interview. He is so angry with him that it’s totally unthinkable at the moment for them to be happily reunited and stood together at the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue. It’ll take a lot of work to patch things up so they can put on a united front,” the source said.
