Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had already shared their truth. However, it seemed that things had backfired as they received an intense backlash for airing their dirty laundry in public. An expert weighed in on the issue and claimed the Duke of Sussex would never be able to redeem himself.

No Redemption For Prince Harry?

Dr. Lillian Glass, a human behavior and body language expert and author of Toxic People: 10 Ways of Dealing With People Who Make Your Life Miserable, reflected on the drama caused by Prince Harry's book Spare. In her opinion, Prince William's brother would have a difficult time redeeming himself.

"He will never redeem himself in American society," Glass told Express. "He can never come back."

Glass added that after talking much about his family, there was nothing left for Prince Harry to share. He has no expertise and has nothing to offer to the public.

"He's not an expert. He has nothing to offer. So, we don't care. He may make a lecture here and there, but nobody cares. Nobody's going to take him with any seriousness."

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Didn't Expect The Backlash In Spare?

Prince Harry's memoir was among the most anticipated book before it hit the bookshelves. However, while many were excited to hear their side of the story, many were disappointed and felt that the Duke of Sussex was oversharing.

Royal correspondent Victoria Arbiter believed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn't expect the backlash following the release of the book.

"I think they thought there would be a similar level of sympathy to that following the Oprah interview so I think they probably have been quite shocked," Arbiter said on TalkTV, Express reported.

"Americans, in general, are a sympathetic bunch and I am generalising when I say that and I think Harry and Meghan have enjoyed that level of sympathy that they perhaps weren't given in the UK. But I think they will have been shocked by some of the negative pushback, I don't think that was expected it at all."

Prince Harry and Markle had kept a low profile following the release of Spare. The former Suits star also didn't join her husband when he promoted his book, which leaked days before its official release date.

There are speculations that Markle was distancing herself from Spare.

What can you say about the expert's opinion that Prince Harry would not be able to redeem himself after Spare?
