Not only that because the position of Prince Harry in the line of succession to the throne would inevitably change as the children of Prince William and Kate Middleton -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis -- grow up and have their own families.
However, royal author Brian Hoey suggested that Prince Harry would have a prestigious position within the Royal Family should his father, Prince Charles, finally takes over the throne from Queen Elizabeth.
Talking about the feud between the Sussexes and the royal family, he said to Express UK:
"One has to remember, in the not too distance future - although I hope it is going to be a long way in the future - Harry is going to be the son of the King. So they've got to be very careful how they handle him, you see, because no matter what happens, they can never take that away from him."
As the heir apparent, Prince Charles would follow the footsteps of Queen Elizabeth and accede to the throne. The bond of Prince Harry with the Crown would continue to be strong even after the end of his father's reign for his brother, Prince William, would inherit the throne.

Brian Hoey also claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince William's reunion with the other members of the royal family, and introducing their daughter, Lilibet Diana, to Queen Elizabeth would help in healing and mending their strained relationship. Talking about the split between the royals, the royal expert told the publication:
"It would be a very easy thing for the rift to be healed between them, very easy."
He furthered that the tensions between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with the other royals may not be running as high as what the public assumes.
Brian Hoey stated:
"It may not be as bad as we on the outside think it is anyway. Because I am absolutely sure the Queen holds no feelings of disapproval towards Harry and Meghan, none whatsoever. And she would certainly welcome them back if they returned, and she would like them to be all together."
Prince Harry Not Invited From Prince William's 40th Birthday?
Meanwhile, Heat Magazine claimed that Prince Harry is likely to be "uninvited" from the upcoming 40th birthday of Prince William amid their feud. The entertainment news publication reported that the decision of Meghan Markle's husband to pull out of attending the memorial service for Prince Philip and choosing to travel for the Invictus Games has caused fresh strife between them.

Sources told the outlet that the latest snub of Prince Harry forced Prince William to rule out the chance of extending any olive branches from his side, which include taking him off the guest list to his 40th birthday in June. An unnamed tipster claimed:
“William still loves Harry – that will never change – but his apparent insensitivity makes him persona non grata at the moment and it will take some miracle for that to change."
Insiders close to the situation furthered that Prince William is not planning to extend an invitation altogether instead of waiting for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to decline his call.
