Prince Harry could reportedly follow in Prince Andrew’s footsteps of not receiving any money from King Charles after the monarch passes away. According to reports, the Duke of York didn’t receive a single cent from Queen Elizabeth after she passed away in September 2022.

Prince Harry Might Not Be Included In King Charles’ Will?

In an op-ed piece for the New Zealand Herald, royal commentator Daniela Esler said that it is highly like for Prince Harry to follow in his uncle’s footsteps. After all, he also quit his royal duties, just like Prince Andrew, following major scandals and controversies.

According to Esler, Queen Elizabeth decided back in the 1950s that the royal family would pay taxes, but she managed to strike a deal which stipulated that the money passing directly from one sovereign to the next would be hit with a 40 percent inheritance tax.

“And that, obviously, has huge possible implications for one, Prince Harry, whose brother Prince William could therefore very well inherit everything from Charles. This inheritance situation only exacerbates further the already canyon-sized gap that exists between William and Harry when it comes to moolah,” she said (via Express).

Esler went on to say that the irony of the situation is that Prince Harry is the one who might need more money from King Charles because he was the one who quit his royal duties. However, Prince William could inherit everything from their dad because he is the heir to the throne.

King Charles’ Grandchildren Archie And Lilibet Are Not Invited To His Coronation

According to The Independent, King Charles’ decision not to invite his grandchildren wasn’t intended as a snub. Rather, Archie and Lilibet are still too young to attend his coronation.

However, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children will most likely be in attendance because they are much older compared to Archie and Lilibet. Queen Consort Camilla’s grandchildren will also have key roles at the ceremony.

As of writing, it’s still unclear as to whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will even be there. A source for the couple said that they are still weighing the logistics and the personal implications of attending the ceremony amid their ongoing rift with the royal family.
