Prince Harry shared a slew of different stories about Kate Middleton in his memoir Spare. For instance, he detailed Middleton and Meghan Markle's text exchange over Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress. He also admitted that he felt as though he was going to lose Prince William after he and Middleton tied the knot.

But according to royal author Christopher Andersen, Prince Harry didn't do himself any favors by including Kate Middleton in his memoir. After all, detailing stories about his sister-in-law only deepened his rift with Prince William because the latter is fiercely protective of his wife.
Andersen also said that King Charles must have also felt the same because Prince Harry also attacked Queen Consort Camilla in Spare.
"Harry and Meghan keep lobbing grenades over palace walls, and it's all Charles, Camilla, William, and Kate can do just to scramble for cover. But now I think Harry's blistering rebuke of Camilla will infuriate his father the king. William is also seething over Harry's less-than-flattering portrait of Kate. If either his brother or father fires back, there will be counterattacks in the form of more revelations from the Sussex camp. It's impossible to imagine that the Royal Family will simply remain silent. And if they do, that will be a mistake, because it's clear Harry is determined to keep telling his side of the story until he gets a rise out of them," he told Fox News.

Kate Middleton Allegedly Appalled By Prince Harry's Book
In Spare, Prince Harry also claimed that Prince William and Middleton encouraged him to wear the Nazi uniform to a Halloween party. But when he was slammed by the public for what he did, Prince William and Middleton did not help him clear his name.
The Duke of Sussex also alleged that Middleton reluctantly lent Markle her lip gloss, and the former was taken aback by the latter's desire to even borrow it from her in the first place.
Following the release of Spare, a source told Us Weekly that Middleton is appalled by all of Prince Harry's stories about her and Prince William in his memoir.
"Kate feels that Harry's actions are atrocious. She is appalled at him for dragging her name through the dirt and is finding it hard to forgive," the source said.
Prince Harry Described Kate Middleton As Carefree, Sweet, And Kind In Spare
However, Prince Harry's stories about Middleton aren't always negative. In fact, he fondly recalled one of his first meetings with his sister-in-law.
"She was carefree, sweet, kind. She'd done a gap year in Florence and knew about photography and art. And clothes. She loved clothes. Her name was Kate. I forget what native or colonial thing she was wearing to the party, but with her help, Willy had chosen for himself some kind of … feline outfit," he said.
Prince Harry also said that he loved making Middleton laugh.
"I liked seeing Kate laugh. Better yet, I liked making her laugh. And I was quite good at it. My transparently silly side connected with her heavily disguised silly side," he said.
