Prince Harry got candid about his experience while on the battlefield when he was serving in the army in his memoir, Spare. He also mentioned the number of soldiers he killed during the war.

Prince Harry Reportedly Put Invictus Games At Risk For Opening Up About Killing 25 Taliban Fighters

The Duke of Sussex recounted how his life was when he was on the battlefield in his book, Spare. He also mentioned killing 25 Taliban soldiers.

However, Admiral Lord West, former head of the Navy, warned Prince Harry of the possible consequences of his admission. West feared that it could affect the threat level at Invictus Games.

"The Invictus Games is very much labelled to him and so I would have thought the threat level there will definitely be higher," he told Sunday Mirror.

"There will be serious security issues because of what he said. The Taliban will be reading it thinking there's this prince calling us all chess pieces and is quite happy about killing us."

He added, "And there will be a lot of people, I am sure, in Islamic State and other terrorist organisations, who will think this is something which should be avenged."

Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games for wounded military veterans in 2014. The next game will be in Dusseldorf, Germany, in September. Military experts believed that the organisation may need to take extra measures to ensure the participants' safety.

Taliban Branded Prince Harry A 'Big Mouth Loser'

In his book, Prince Harry mentioned that he viewed the fighters as "chess pieces." However, the Taliban taunted the Duke of Sussex, saying they had the last laugh after recapturing the country in 2-21.

The Taliban added that while their fighters are the ultimate victors of the conflict, Prince Harry had "fled to his grandmother's palace' and is now struggling to maintain a place in the Royal Family," Daily Mail reported.

"We are still here ruling, but he has fled to his grandmother's palace. He's a big mouth loser who has been trying to get attention," Taliban commander Molavi Agha Gol, 32, told Daily Mail.

"I do not even believe what he said about the Mujahidin. He is a loser and scared to go to a combat zone. We made history by kicking him and his army out of our homeland and he should be very angry about that," he added.

"Do not believe whatever losers tell you. I see news about him a lot on my Facebook feed and really think he's gone mad and needs a doctor immediately. Even if he believes [that he killed 25 Taliban], our martyred Mujahidin are in heaven, but his invading friends are burning in Hell and I really hope I was in Helmand when he was there, to make him understand what real chess pieces are."

Gol challenged Prince Harry if he's a real man and not a loser, to "come to Afghanistan again."
