Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly need money, and things are not going well with them stateside. According to GB News TV presenter Nana Akua, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are losing their "global appeal."

Prince Harry and Markle had remained popular after they stepped back from their royal duties. They even scored multi-million deals with Netflix and Spotify. Prince Harry also signed a $20 million deal with Penguin Random House for his memoir.

However, after their explosive tell-alls dissing the royal family and the Queen's death, more and more are turning against them. Several sources claimed that they wanted to delay their Netflix project and his book to "soften" its content.

British TV presenter for GB News, Nana Akua, weighed in on the royal couple's future. For her, they are not as popular as before. She made the comments weeks after Prince Harry and Markel were uninvited to a reception for world leaders at Buckingham Palace on the eve of the Queen's state funeral.

"The couple appears to be losing their global appeal," Akua claimed on her show on GB News. "I suspect many of the world leaders wouldn't have been that comfortable if they had attended."

Since the pair are not as popular, she alleged that they probably had a realization — "that being a royal is a pretty good gig."

She added that there seem to be changes "as the penny appears to be dropping." She speculated that Prince Harry and Markle realized that things weren't on their side without the monarchy behind them.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Trying To Reconcile With Royal Family?

With the reports of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex trying to "soften" their content, so it won't be offensive to the royal family, Akua mentioned the report from The Sun about Prince Harry and Markle allegedly planning to spend a year in the United Kingdom to work on their relationship with his family.

"Next year 2023 was to be their reconciliation year," a royal source told The Sun explaining the Sussexes' plan to end their feud with the royals.

"They have always been careful to not criticize the monarch. They have always tried to be respectful to the Queen," a source told the paper. "But the Queen has now died and Charles and Camilla are the King and Queen. Clearly, this reconciliation attempt would never work if they have been critical of the new monarch, or both."

However, royal expert Robert Jobson seemed unimpressed with the Sussexes' plans for reconciliation, calling it "appalling." For him, the issue between Prince Harry and his family is not fixable at this point.

"It is also completely arrogant because they are assuming they can win back the trust of Harry's father and brother. But that trust has gone forever. Harry and Meghan will never be looked at the same," Jobson explained. "Harry needs to remember he is now dealing with the Head of State — not just his dad. If they disrespect the King, they are not only disrespecting the man, but also the institution."
