Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly demoted following the noticeable changes in the royal family's official website. Many noticed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were pushed further down on the royal family's page.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Placed At The Bottom Of The Royal Family's Website

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were still working royals, their pages were placed just below Prince William and Kate Middleton's on the royal family's official website. In January 2020, less than two years after they tied the knot, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to step back from their royal duties.

The Sussexes have been estranged from the royal family after they decided to leave the royals and settle in California. However, they have maintained a good relationship with the Queen.

According to Page Six, following their decision to step back, under the late Queen's reign, Prince Harry and Markle were placed behind Princess Anne. However, after King Charles assumed the throne, the royal couple was pushed further down the page.

Many noticed over the weekend that Prince Harry and Markle now sit on top of Prince Andrew. The disgraced Duke of York was stripped of his royal titles and military appointments after he was accused of sexual assault. Just like his uncle, Prince Harry was also stripped of his royal titles and military appointments when he decided not to return to his royal duties after the Queen gave him 12 months to decide whether he would stay or leave the firm.

The Sussexes' demotion received mixed responses on Twitter.

"That's what they wanted," one commented. Another added, "Demote all you want, in the real world, you are all beneath Harry and Meghan."

"GOOD, it is what they deserve," a third user wrote.

King Charles Reportedly Plans To Exile Prince Harry

Prior to the changes on the royal website, there was a report claiming that King Charles plans to exile his younger son. The new monarch is reportedly planning to take the same action the previous royals did when King Edward VIII sparked several dramas.

King Edward VIII abdicated the throne to marry American socialite and twice-divorced Wallis Simpson. The royal family exiled him, and King Charles is allegedly planning to do the same to Prince William's younger brother.

"The royals handled the abdication crisis by exiling Edward which meant he and Wallis ultimately came to seem like unimportant, misguided, disloyal, and even treacherous individuals to almost the entirety of the British people. It was a masterful operation in the service of which the Queen Mother, in particular, worked tirelessly," a friend of King Charles told Daily Beast. "The same thing is already happening with Harry and Meghan, and will only gather pace over the next few years under the rule of King Charles."

A former staffer added that the new monarch would be "ruthless" when it comes to protecting the crown.

"Charles will be ruthless when it comes to protecting the Crown, and that means keeping Harry and Meghan as far from the center of gravity as possible," the source added.
