The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sparked rumors that they have outgrown their Montecito mansion. They are reportedly looking for luxury homes in Hope Ranch, an exclusive community in Santa Barbara, The Santa Barbara News-Press reported.

The reason for the house-hunting is reportedly because the royal couple felt that their $14 million mansion in Montecito "does not properly accommodate them." The outlet noted that they could be looking for a property or may have already purchased one. It's unclear whether they are seeking a bigger home or a smaller property.

The luxury homes in Hope Ranch are as high as $22 million, Daily Mail added. The small but affluent community boasts a members-only country club, golf club, tennis court, picnic grounds, and a network of equestrian trails.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Possible Reason For Leaving Montecito And Moving To Hope Ranch

It's possible that the couple has already outgrown their current home. Another probable reason is security.

The Montecito Association installed cameras around the area 'in response to the high-value property crime we've experienced recently,' reported The Sun. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also experienced security scares in May.

On May 31, they made another alert to the Santa Barbara police. The records showed that there had been six security alerts at their mansion in the last 14 months.
