Prince William and Prince Harry are unlikely to reconcile anytime soon, especially since the former's book Spare is set to be released Tuesday. Ahead of the book's release, several excerpts leaked, and many seemed to target the Prince and Princess of Wales. One source spoke about the heir to the throne's sentiment about his brother.

Prince William Reportedly Hates Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared many things that didn't thrill the royal family after they stepped back from their royal duties in 2020. A source close to Prince William told The Daily Beast that he feels "utterly betrayed" by his brother and he "hates" the Sussexes.

"It's impossible to exaggerate the extent of [William's] contempt for Harry and Meghan now," the insider said.

"He absolutely hates them, and can’t believe that Harry would do this to him and to Kate. He feels utterly betrayed and deeply saddened by everything that has happened. There will be no way back after this."

The source said what Prince Harry did — blowing it all up — was sad, considering that the family was tight and Meghan Markle's husband reportedly turned his entire family against him.

"If they decided not to show their faces, no one would mourn their absence," Prince William's pal added.

Royal Family Reportedly Feels Betrayed By Prince Harry's Book Spare

Another anonymous source close to the members of the firm spoke with Entertainment Tonight and said that, at this point, "no one in the family trusts Harry anymore."

The source said the Duke of Sussex "crossed a line" by sharing private family matters in his memoir. The tipster said King Charles was "deeply upset" by the book even if his son went easy on him and reportedly targeted his big brother, Prince William.

Despite what the King feels, he reportedly still wants to fix his relationship with his youngest son.

Meanwhile, Vanity Fair royal correspondent and editor Katie Nicholl weighed in on the issue after several excerpts from Prince Harry's book leaked. According to her, sources told her that the future King is "privately seething and devastated."

Nicholl also questioned Prince Harry because his words and actions do not coincide. In an interview, he said he wanted his father and brother back, but his statements about them in his memoir seemed to show otherwise.

"To paint such an unflattering picture of the royal family and a very unsavory side of his brother and an uncaring side of his father... It just does not appear to be the actions of a man trying to reconcile with his estranged family. It really feels like a line has been crossed," the author of The New Royals told Page Six.
