Prince Harry 'Desperately Unhappy' After Leaving Royal Family With Meghan Markle? Prince William's Brother Still Hasn't Achieved Dream Of Living A Normal Life

Prince Harry wanted to live a normal life, that was why he left the firm after marrying Meghan Markle. However, two years after he stepped back from his royal duties, he still hasn't achieved his goal.

Prince Harry Hasn't Realized His Dream Despite Sacrificing Everything

The Duke of Sussex has been open about his desire to live a normal life. Several royal experts believed that it was his desire to leave the firm even before meeting his wife, Meghan Markle.

According to Duncan Larcombe, Prince William's brother hasn't achieved that goal yet because his current life is similar to the one he wanted to leave behind.

"Children dream of one day being a prince," Larcombe told Fox News Digital. "Harry, his whole life, has dreamed of one day being normal."

"And I honestly don't think, and I'm not alone in thinking that, Harry simply has not found that dream."

Larcombe said all Prince Harry has, he already had. He noted that the Duke of Sussex could reach out to Steven Spielberg or Barack Obama if he wanted to. Moving to California doesn't really make a huge difference for him.

"There's no novelty for him being top of the tree in Los Angeles," the former royal editor of The Sun.

"So, what we're seeing unfold in front of our eyes is a prince who, frankly, seems to have sacrificed absolutely everything and gained very, very little in return."

Prince Harry Reportedly Looks Desperately Unhappy

Larcombe noted how Prince Harry appears to have everything he wanted — children, love, success and his own "palace." However, stepping back from his royal duties has reportedly not led to the happiness and fulfilment he expected.

For Larcombe, Prince William's brother "looks like he is carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders."

"Harry looks desperately unhappy," he noted. "I've watched him closely since he was a teenager, for my work, and I feel that if Harry is as happy as he is telling us, as he and Meghan tell us they are, he needs to quickly tell his face."

Neil Sean, a royal and entertainment reporter for NBC News, MSNBC and Access Hollywood, seemingly echoed the same sentiment. On his YouTube Channel, Sean claimed that Prince Harry looked more trapped than Prince William.

"When you look at the life of Prince Harry and Prince William, and of course, his children and their children around them, you have to wonder who is truly the happiest," Sean said. "Whichever way you look at it on this very special birthday of 40, a lot of people are saying, well, there's only one person that looks trapped and that one person is satisfied looking at a loss of yet another polo match while the other one is enjoying life to the full, surrounded by very loving, close and of course, supportive family."
