Prince George has been making public appearances in recent months. He was recently photographed with Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Princess Charlotte at Prince Philip’s memorial service. The 8-year-old also accompanied his parents at sports events. And Prince George also walked the red carpet during the premiere of James Bond: No Time to Die.

Royal fans are aware that Prince George is third in line to the throne. Even though he won’t ascend the throne anytime soon, it’s obvious that he’s already being trained for his future role. His public appearances are a key sign that Prince William and Middleton are trying to help Prince George get used to his public life. And he’s lucky because he also has a sister by his side.

Prince George Could Be Named President Of The British Sub-Aqua Club

When the time comes, Prince George will also inherit royal titles and roles. According to Express, he could follow in Prince Philip’s footsteps and become the next royal to take on the presidency of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC). Prince Charles also served as the president of BSAC and Prince William currently holds the position.

Since two future kings took on the role, it is possible for Prince George to also be named president of BSAC when the time comes.

The Duke of Cambridge is reportedly very passionate about his role. In fact, he and Middleton were delighted to have witnessed first-hand Belize’s conservation efforts during their private trip to the South Water Cave.

“It's really fantastic to see the underwater environment here in Belize and what wonderful work they've been doing to protect the coral and fish life. Belize's work on marine protection is world-leading, which is crucial when you're protecting the world's second-largest barrier reef and in fact, it's a UNESCO world heritage site. It's clear to see the Belizeans value their environment, whether it's the marine environment or the land environment. It's great to see their commitments go further and further. We should support them and value their efforts to protect both the marine and the land environments,” Prince William said (via Express).

According to the publication, Prince William and Middleton are both experienced scuba divers. And if Prince George falls in love with the sport, he could be the perfect fit for his future role.

Prince George In Training For His Future Role As King

Other than his possible future role as the president of BSAC, Prince George is also being prepared for his role as king as gradually as possible. In the book Battle of Brothers, royal author Robert Lacey revealed that Prince George found out about his future role shortly after he turned 7 years old.

“William has not revealed to the world how and when he broke the big news to his son. But sometime around the boy’s seventh birthday in the summer of 2020, it is thought that his parents went into more detail about what the little prince’s life of future royal ‘service and duty’ would particularly involve,” he said (via Vogue).

A source told Daily Mail that Prince George’s training has already been paying off even if it’s only been a year.

“George has turned into a confident little boy and loves meeting new people. They don’t get nervous in public and are already showing signs of becoming great leaders,” the source said.
