Prince George is already aware of his future role in the monarch. According to a new report, the 8-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton is already preparing himself to become the future king.

Prince George Is Already Starting To Shine Years Ahead of His Reign

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very protective of their children. In as much as possible, the royal couple wants to give their three kids — Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3 — a normal childhood. However, their eldest son is also already aware of the responsibility that awaits him in the future.

At a very young age, Kate Middleton and Prince William's eldest child embraced his future role. In fact, he is allegedly already preparing for it and it seems, effortless for the little royal who has what it takes to lead the monarchy naturally, according to a report.

The source added, "Prince George is already showing that he has what it takes to be the future King of England."

Even if Prince George is born a leader and is incredibly tidy and immaculate, he still has that child in him. The source said he is a "fun-loving" kid who has a "cute, mischievous side." He also loves to play pranks and make everyone laugh.

When Did Prince William Tell Prince George That He Will Be King Someday?

Years ago, Prince William was asked when he would tell his eldest son that he would be king someday. At the time, the Duke of Cambridge said that they were not in a hurry and it wasn't the right time because Prince George was still too young.

However, according to a royal biographer, Prince George, is already aware of his fate. The second in line to the throne reportedly told him when he turned 7 years old.

"William has not revealed to the world how and when he broke the big news to his son. Maybe one day George will tell us the story himself," Robert Lacey wrote in the new chapter of his updated book Battle of Brothers. "But sometime around the boy’s seventh birthday in the summer of 2020 it is thought that his parents went into more detail about what the little prince’s life of future royal ‘service and duty’ would particularly involve."

He continued, "William’s aim as a father, the prince stressed, was to give his son ‘a normal family upbringing,’ enabling the monarchy ‘to stay relevant and keep up with modern times."

Lacey believed that sharing the news to Prince George was a reflection of his "unhappiness at the haphazard fashion in which the whole business of his royal destiny had buzzed around his head from the start." Prince William and Kate Middleton have slowly introduced their eldest child to his future role.

In fact, they brought him with them when they watched the England vs. Wales Six Nations game. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge supported the rival teams because Prince William has been the royal patron of the Welsh Rugby Union since 2016, while Middleton is the patron of England's Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football League — roles previously held by Prince Harry before he and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped down from their royal duties.
