Prince George, Prince Louis Reportedly Mirror Prince William, Prince Harry During Christmas Walkabout

Prince George acted like a caring brother to Prince Louis in their most recent public sighting. One expert said the two siblings were reminiscent of Prince William and Prince Harry.

Prince George Acted Like Dad Prince William Toward Younger Brother Prince Louis, Expert Claims

Prince William and Kate Middleton's youngest son made his Christmas service debut Sunday when he joined the royal family's walkabout. Body language expert Judi James noticed how Prince George and Prince Louis shared a bond before entering the church.

"With the newly re-formed royal pack arriving in force for their Christmas church service, it was one subtle but powerful gesture from George that created a poignant but also hopeful emotional moment," she The Sun's Fabulous.

"Harry's Netflix show included footage and photos of himself and older brother William when they were children and it was clear from the poses how much William looked after and protected his younger sibling," she continued. "With that relationship in tatters, this current Christmas appearance by four-year-old Louis showed a very mirrored moment between these new royal brothers."

She noted how when the handshakes were over, and the Waleses went to walk into the church, Prince George instinctively bent his head to his younger brother to speak to him. He also placed a hand on his back, which according to James, was a "gesture of reassurance and guidance."

"It is a gesture William and Kate have always used on their children and they were using it again today," she continued.

"But it was George taking over the caring role here and the sight of the older brother looking out for the younger, more boisterous one was like a flashback to the days when it was William looking after Harry."

She added that Prince William has always learned lessons from the past and probably encouraged his sons to build stronger and more resilient relationships.

Prince George Is More Confident, Expert Says

Aside from acting like a real big brother, the 9-year-old royal is visibly more confident, according to James. She noted how the Prince and Princess of Wales' eldest child carried himself during his recent public outings.

"George showed his growing confidence on public appearances by quietly prepping for the more formal moments," James added.

"Walking with his arms at his sides he waited as his father shook hands with the clergyman but with his arms now hanging slightly behind his torso, we could see him flexing his fingers in a really professional way as he prepped for his own handshake."

Prince George also wore a navy blue suit similar to his dad's outfit.

In related news, royal commentator Neil Sean claimed that Prince George is already working on being independent. Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis' older brother reportedly wanted to learn martial arts because "he likes the idea of looking after himself."

Middleton was reportedly a bit worried. However, Prince William was supportive of what their son wanted.

"His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales thinks this will be good character building, good for him to have that, sort of, independence," Sean added.
