Prince Charles reunited with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when the pair dropped by at the U.K. before they went to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games. However, the meeting was allegedly not as fine as previously reported.
Prince Charles, Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Meeting Just A Sussex Publicity Stunt?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's visit to the U.K. was taken well by many with several saying they extended an "olive branch" to the royal family after skipping Prince Philip's memorial service and following their controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey. However, according to royal biographer Angela Levin, author of Prince Harry: Biography of a Prince, the "supposed 'olive branch'" was just "another publicity stunt" and the Sussexes allegedly made the visit because they were "trying to garner more public sympathy."
"I don't think it was an olive branch at all," Levin wrote for The Sun.
The royal correspondent and author shared two reasons why she believed Prince Harry and Markle's reunion with the Prince of Wales wasn't really about mending their relationship.
"First of all, Harry arrived late. What was he doing beforehand? He couldn't have been that busy," Levin added. "And secondly, he was only there for about 10 minutes."
Levin said that one cannot make amends in just 10 minutes, noting that doing so is "an insult." Also, he believed that such a short meeting would only "make both anger and profound sadness rise up in Charles."
Levin had the chance to interview and join Prince Harry in various engagements when she worked on his biography. According to her, he had changed big time.
He remembered Prince Harry as someone who would work hard and help his father. However, he behaves differently this time "like an idiot," Levin said.
"It's an idiotic thing to suggest that, when you haven't been around for a year, you are somehow in charge of protecting the Queen," she continued. "It's an outpouring of venom - and not the Harry I once knew."
Prince Charles Wants To Make Sure Queen Elizabeth's Jubilee Won't Be Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Show
There are rumors that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might join the royal family on the balcony at Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebration. However, the Prince of Wales and the royal family already agreed that the day would be about the monarch.

"Charles wants the Platinum Jubilee to focus only on the Queen," a source told The Sun. "Many are disappointed that Andrew overshadowed Prince Philip's thanksgiving service and don't want the Meghan and Harry circus to hijack the Jubilee."
The source added, "This is the Queen’s show and should be about her and her 70 years of service rather than Meghan’s fashion, the kids and Harry. They don’t want it to become the Harry and Meghan show. Charles and all the family are agreed on that."
However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might steal the Queen's thunder with their presence. So, they may not be allowed to be on the balcony or they may not join the event. Prince Harry and Markle haven't confirmed their attendance at the Queen's Jubilee celebration.
