Prince Andrew could be heading for a trial amid his sexual abuse case.
In his statement, he also said that he wants the case to head to court so that he could defend himself against Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s allegations. Even though he’s now considered a private citizen, it’s highly likely for Prince Andrew to be in need of the royal family’s support during this difficult time.
Prince Andrew Needs Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Support
National Enquirer, in its Feb. 21 issue, claimed that Prince Andrew is especially interested in getting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s support. And he’s allegedly using his daughter, Princess Eugenie to help him out. After all, he knows that Princess Eugenie is still close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
“He’s been begging Eugenie to arrange an invite to their place in Montecito for him. He’s obsessed with reconnecting with them. If Andrew could team up with Harry and Meghan and pick their brains about law and the way it all works in America, he’d be all over it in a flush. Truth is, though, they’d run like the plague if he had the audacity to get in touch,” an unnamed source said.
Prince Andrew Proud Of Prince Harry For Standing Up Against British Security
The insider added that Prince Andrew became even more drawn to Prince Harry after he saw how the latter fought to have security for his entire family while they are in the United Kingdom. Even though his efforts were trashed, the Duke of York couldn’t allegedly help but be impressed.
“Prince Harry’s bulldog behavior has emboldened his uncle. He’s very open about his admiration for Harry. He’s proud of him for standing up. Andrew has a huge ax to grind with the very same people Harry is petitioning. Andrew’s branded those people as bullies, and he’s convinced it means he and Harry are somehow on the same side. He genuinely seems to think he can convince Harry he's been wronged and get him and Meghan to stand with him. So far, no one has had the stones to tell him it’ll never happen,” the unnamed source concluded.
As of late, there’s no indication that Prince Andrew has plans to visit Prince Harry and Markle in Montecito. The Duke of York also has a complicated relationship with his nephew.
Prince Harry Unimpressed With Prince Andrew’s Rude Behavior
According to reports, the Duke of Sussex has never been impressed with Prince Andrew’s rude behavior toward the palace staff.
In the book Harry: The People’s Prince, former royal chef Darren McGrady revealed that Prince William and Prince Harry were raised well by their parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana. After all, the siblings have impeccable manners.
However, the same cannot be said about their uncle, Prince Andrew.
“[Diana] would often bring William and Harry down to the kitchen to say thank you after a meal they’d enjoyed. Fergie was always trying to copy her. She would do it with Beatrice and Eugenie. But it was so obvious that she was just trying to be Diana. Plus, she’d get the names of the chefs wrong,” McGrady told author Chris Hutchins.

The author added that every time Prince Andrew would bark at palace staff, McGrady would notice Prince Harry pulling a face because he thought he was rude.
“Andrew always came straight to the point and told you exactly what he wanted. Whereas Harry had been taught to say ‘Please may I have…’ Andrew would bark, ‘Where are my mangoes? I want my mangoes. I’m not surprised that Harry has turned out to be the same as Diana. She doted on him,” he said.
Prince Harry and Markle have not commented on Prince Andrew’s sexual abuse lawsuit. So, it’s unclear where they stand on the matter. However, it is true that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex share a special bond with Princess Eugenie, as well as Sarah Ferguson and Princess Beatrice.
In fact, when Markle appeared on the Ellen Show, she told host Ellen DeGeneres that there was a time when they snuck into a Halloween party with their respective partners. Back then, no one had any idea that Prince Harry and Markle were dating.
