Prince Andrew recently reached a settlement with his accuser, Virginia Roberts Giuffre.
His decision to pay the latter came as a shock for royal experts. After all, the Duke of York previously accused Roberts of trying to profit off him. In his statement, the dad of two also acknowledged the hardships that Roberts went through in the hands of Jeffrey Epstein. But Prince Andrew never confirmed or denied his real involvement in the case.

Prince Andrew Is Broke
National Enquirer, in its March 7 issue, claimed that the royal family was also surprised with Prince Andrew’s decision to reach a settlement with Roberts instead of going to a trial. After all, they know that the Duke of York doesn’t have the money to pay his settlement and would most likely ask Queen Elizabeth for help.
An unnamed source claimed that the monarch already made it clear that she won’t be helping Prince Andrew financially. After all, the cost of the lawsuit has already taken a toll on the monarch.
“Andrew is on the ropes and Her Majesty is refusing to bail him out. She’s furious at him for bringing shame and humiliation to the monarchy and will not bankroll his mega-bucks-out-of-court settlement. She’s already banned Andrew from royal life and stripped him of his military honors, royal patronages, taxpayer-funded salary, and the use of His Royal Highness title, but she’s not finished yet,” the unnamed source claimed.
Queen Elizabeth Plans To Evict Prince Andrew From The Royal Lodge
The queen allegedly plans to evict Prince Andrew from the Royal Lodge. So, he and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson would have no other choice but to find a new home.
However, this move contradicts the initial claims that the royal family knows that Prince Andrew is broke. If he is then all the more can he not afford to pay for a new house.
“Although he lives a very lavish champagne-and-caviar lifestyle, Andrew is not a wealthy man. His mother has kept him afloat financially, but she’s just slammed shut the Bank of Mommy. Andrew’s facing life as a broke, homeless pariah, desperately begging other royals and their wealthy friends for cash to survive. But you can be sure his brother Prince Charles and nephew Prince William won’t come to his rescue. The future kings are estranged from Andrew and appalled by the sex scandal,” the unnamed source said.
Prince Andrew Guilty In His Sexual Abuse Case
Prince Andrew’s decision to settle with Giuffre also sparked more speculations about the disgraced royal. After all, royal fans are convinced that he wouldn’t have settled with his accuser if he’s not guilty.
“It’s a lot of money for an innocent man to pay someone he says he doesn’t know. He’s a national joke. He’s lost all the trappings of royal life and is facing financial ruin. That’s a princely prince to pay for a pampered and spoiled mommy’s boy,” the unnamed source concluded.

Prince Andrew, Virginia Roberts Giuffre Reach $16 Million Settlement
According to TIME, Prince Andrew agreed to pay Giuffre an estimated $16 million. However, the entire amount won’t go directly to his accuser. Instead, some of it would be donated to a charity that Giuffre supports.
“Prince Andrew intends to make a substantial donation to Ms. Giuffre’s charity in support of victims’ rights. Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms. Giuffre’s character, and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks,” the statement read.
Before they reached a settlement, multiple sources claimed that Prince Andrew received financial support from the queen while fighting against the lawsuit. So, there were concerns that the Duke of York’s settlement would also come from Her Majesty.
However, Buckingham Palace released a statement debunking the allegations.
They said that they have never commented on the financial aspects of Prince Andrew’s private legal affairs and would never do so.
However, the statement did not directly confirm or deny whether the queen helped Prince Andrew with his lawsuit and settlement, according to People.
