Prince Andrew and Princess Eugenie are reportedly eyeing the same royal residence that Prince William and Kate Middleton want. Royal fans on Twitter favored the Cambridges over the Yorks.

Prince Andrew And Princess Eugenie Will Not Win Against The Cambridges If Royal Fans Are To Decide

Several outlets reported that the Duke of York and his youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, are interested in Adelaide Cottage. However, Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are reportedly planning to move near Queen Elizabeth II, are eyeing the same royal residence.

If royal fans are to decide, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge should occupy the residence and not the Princess of York.

"If the Yorks don't like the idea of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their adorable children moving to Adelaide Cottage. They can just pack all of their stuff up, and get off all the Royal Properties! Because the Monarchy belongs to the Cambridges, they are the Future!" one royal fan tweeted.

"I don't really know why the York daughters should have grace and favour homes, they don't undertake any Royal engagements, after all," one added.

"The Yorks rub me the wrong way. They are going to be cousins of the monarch, which isn't super close. They need to realize this now. The Cambridges by default get the pick of the litter, and more so when Prince Charles is king," another commented.

Some suggested that Princess Eugenie and Prince Andrew should just cooperate. After all, Prince William is the future king and has the default right to pick whatever he wants.

Prince William And Kate Middleton Allegedly On Collision With Prince Andrew And Princess Eugenie

Prince Andrew has always wanted the best for his daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice. The Duke of York allegedly wanted a royal residence for one of his children.

"The Duke of York has made no secret in the past of his firm held belief that his children should be treated no differently to Princes William and Harry, despite his daughters not being working royals," an unnamed source said, Mirror reported.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, has allegedly made advances of her own to take over Adelaide Cottage, which is just a 10-minute walk from Windsor Castle, where Queen Elizabeth II is staying. Princess Eugenie allegedly planned to settle in Windsor.

However, the York family might be up against the Cambridges. Prince William and Kate Middleton are looking for a home in Berkshire to be near the Queen. The future king and queen consort are ready to leave their 20-room apartment in Kensington Palace for a countryside home.

"The situation could very well become an issue in the near future," the source added.

Unnamed sources told the outlet that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's two likely options are Adelaide Cottage and Fort Belvedere. Other sources dismissed rumors that Prince William and Middleton are looking for a private residence because "it would be neither appropriate nor a good look to spend millions on a private home."

Meanwhile, palace sources accused Prince Andrew of manipulating his way back into the royal limelight.

"This is yet another example of the Duke of York and indeed the York family's levels of entitlement, it's extraordinary," the tipster said.
