Prince Andrew seemingly shaded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding ahead of his daughter Princess Eugenie's big day. The Duke of York made an interview on This Morning in the run-up of the Princess of York's nuptials comparing the two big events.
Prince Andrew Implied Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Royal Wedding Is Not A Family Affair?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot at St. George's Chapel in Windsor. Their royal event was broadcast live on TV and watched by millions worldwide.
Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, also exchanged "I do's" in the same chapel. However, before their nuptials, Prince Andrew seemingly compared the two royal weddings.

"It will not be the same as the previous one that was held in May," Prince Andrew said of Princess Eugenie's big day while making a reference to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's nuptials. "This is not a public wedding, this is meant to be a family wedding
He also compared the wedding guestlists. According to the Duke of York, his daughter and son-in-law invited more people because they sent out 850 invitations compared to the Sussexes' 600.
"There'll be a few more people than most people have," he continued. "There are a few more than Harry had, but that's just the nature of Eugenie and Jack - they've got so many friends that they need a church of that size to fit them all in."

Netizens React To Prince Andrew's Comparison
Prince Andrew's statement raised some eyebrows because it appeared to some royal fans that he was throwing shade at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, especially when he said that Princess Eugenie and Jack have "many friends."
"Throwing some shade there duke lol," one wrote on Twitter, per The Sun.
"Hum! So Harry has not got so many friends," another added.

Others felt that Prince Andrew was being competitive with his nephews. Some speculated that he has been jealous of the media attention given to Prince Charles' sons Prince William and Prince Harry compared to his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
Despite the comparison, one should note that Princess Eugenie, Jack, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain good friends. In fact, Princess Eugenie and her family are living in Frogmore Cottage, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's official residence in England.
