Following the deaths of James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) and LaKeisha Grant (La La Anthony), Power Book IV: Force follows Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora). Tommy is seeking to repair his life after years of being involved in the drug trade. He does not, however, expect Gloria (Gabrielle Ryan), an attractive new woman, catching his eye.
While Tommy feels an instant connection with Gloria, he had no idea she was involved in a love triangle with his new nemesis, Victor Flynn (Shane Harper). Things are about to get a lot more explosive.
The Trouble Between Tommy, Gloria, and Vic
Tommy has already managed to woo Gloria. He had no idea, however, that she had a long past with Vic Flynn. Vic's commitments to his family have kept them apart, as has the Flynn family's racism, which expects its leader to marry an Irish woman.
However, now that Gloria has captured Tommy's attention, things are bound to heat up.
“It’s a tricky one because Vic and Gloria are definitely off when Gloria meets Tommy,” Ryan told Digital Spy.
“It’s a very on-off relationship, which is why she’s, you know, she’s even open and available to being intimate with Tommy. But Tommy is also Tommy, and, you know, the instant attraction is really obvious, they have a connection straight away.
Vic sees Tommy and Gloria together at the end of Episode 2, King of the Goddamn Hill, so it's only a matter of time before things blow up.
Tommy in Settles In
Tommy is already creating a name for himself in Chicago, despite his initial plans to settle in Los Angeles. As a result, he has attracted the attention of the Chicago Brothers Incorporated and the Flynn crime family. While Tommy has managed to go around the city so far, he had not anticipated the tense race relations that still exist in Chicago.
We have no idea how this love triangle between Tommy, Gloria, and Vic will play out, but we hope Gloria comes out unhurt. We expect Tommy to be fine since he usually manages to emerge from the midst of mayhem.
