Fans outside Japan will finally be able to watch Ash’s journey come to an end as Pokemon Ultimate Journeys will release its final episodes on Netflix this June.

Even if you haven’t followed Pokemon in a while, chances are that you’ve seen the internet flip out over Ash becoming the Pokemon champion.
While it made waves a few months ago, it is only now that the episodes will be released officially in the US.
Pokemon Fans in the US Will Finally Be Able to Watch Ash Become the Champion
The Pokemon anime began back in 1997, so it has been 25 years since Ash Ketchum began his journey of becoming the very best.
It may have taken a while, but finally, Ash achieved his dream of becoming the Pokemon champion as he defeated the best Pokemon trainers in the Masters Eight Tournament.
Interestingly, Ash has not aged a day, even after multiple seasons of the anime.
While Japanese Pokemon fans were able to watch his journey’s culmination on TV, because of the delay in the US release, American fans weren’t able to see this moment via official platforms at the time.
Finally, it was confirmed that the climax of the Pokemon Ultimate Journeys: The Series will be released on Netflix this June.
This upcoming release was confirmed via the official Pokemon Twitter account. As expected, these episodes will come in the English dub.

Pokemon Ultimate Journeys Netflix Release Date, Details
Specifically, the final part of Pokemon Ultimate Journeys will be released on Netflix on June 23, and it consists of 15 episodes that chronicle Ash’s dramatic battles against Pokemon masters.
While this will mark the end of Ultimate Journeys, the special episodes in the Aim to Be a Pokemon Master series are also expected to release on Netflix soon, though there’s no word yet on when this will happen.
What is confirmed is that following these specials, Pokemon fans in the US will finally be able to watch Pokemon Horizons, the latest season in the long-running anime and the first to not feature Ash as the protagonist.
