Pixar's Luca to Have Blu-Ray and DVD Release in Summer 2021

A perfect film for the summer is Luca with the vibes and story of the movie, it will definitely take you to the beach, and fitting for it will be the Blu-Ray and DVD release this coming Summer 2021 even when Disney has decided to release the film for free to those who are subscribed in their streaming platform forming some controversy surrounding the film.

Luckily, for those who would want to secure their own and personal copy of the film, the home release is near as Disney revealed that Luca will be coming out on Blu-ray and DVD this August 3, 2021, just a little after two months the film has been released on Disney+. These copies will also have special features like featurettes of the behind-the-scenes, the deleted scenes, and two different versions of the opening scene.

There would be three featurettes which will discuss the following: the Italian inspiration of the film as they travel to Italy to really be able to deliver the Italian vibes of the film, the innovation on how Luca transformed from a sea monster to a human child, and what inspired these in connection to the emotional journey of the characters, and the cast and crew of Luca sharing their personal stories about their best friends.

It will also have deleted scenes such as two different versions of the opening scene, one where Luca explores the shore and sea, the other where Luca welcomes people to the island. The introduction of Director Enrico Casarosa is also in the videos of the physical release. There are other deleted scenes where you can enjoy watching and see where it would originally fit in the film.

Luca will be out on Blu-Ray and DVD on August 3, 2021.
