Pippa Middleton and Kate Middleton have always been close. The sisters are quite different from each other, but they shared the same passion for sports and other outdoor activities.
Even after Kate Middleton wed Prince William, she still maintained a close relationship with her younger sister. In return, Pippa made sure to honor the Duchess of Cambridge after she welcomed her daughter last year.
Pippa Middleton Named Her Daughter Grace Elizabeth To Honor Kate Middleton
According to Express, Pippa’s daughter’s full name is Grace Elizabeth Jane Matthews. Elizabeth also happens to be Middleton’s middle name.
It has also been a tradition within Middleton’s family to pass the names of their relatives to the younger generation. As such, Princess Charlotte also has the same middle name, but it was also inspired by the young royal’s great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
Princess Charlotte’s other name is Diana, which is a reference to her late grandmother, Princess Diana.
Ruth Pritchard, the aunt of Middleton and Pippa also said that she’s thrilled that their family tradition of passing the name Elizabeth carried on.
“The name has been in my family for generations and is very important to us. My mum was much loved by her family, was devoted to Dad and us children, and always did the best for us,” she told Daily Mail.
Pippa’s son, Arthur also shares the name with his cousin, Prince Louis. Arthur is also part of Prince Charles and Prince William’s full name. The queen’s father’s full name is also Albert Frederick Arthur George Windsor.

Kate Middleton, Pippa Middleton Secretly Feuding With Each Other
Middleton and Matthews also made headlines recently amid reports that the sisters are secretly feuding with each other.
Life & Style recently claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge is secretly jealous of her sister’s simply non-royal life. But what made things worse is the fact that Pippa gets to enjoy royal privileges even though she’s not working on behalf of Queen Elizabeth.
An unnamed source also claimed that Middleton lashed out at Pippa at one point after realizing how tired she is of her royal life.
“Kate and Pippa’s relationship has turned frosty. It irritates Kate that Pippa continues to enjoy the perks of being related to the royals – like invites to swanky events and brand endorsements – without any type of responsibilities. Kate does all the hard work while Pippa lives in a perfect, carefree world. Kate can’t help feeling a little nervous,” the unnamed source said.
However, these claims have been proven. To date, Middleton and Pippa are still like best friends that lean on each other for everything.
