After nearly four years, Overlord is finally back. To mark the fourth season’s release, the Overlord IV creditless opening was uploaded on the Kadokawa anime YouTube channel.
This opening for the latest Overlord season features the song HOLLOW HUNGER" by OxT.
The new video that was recently uploaded is the same as the one you’ll see when watching season 4, with the only difference being this one has no credits.

Along with the release of the new trailer, new information regarding the season was also released. On the official website, two new characters were revealed, along with their respective voice actors
First up, we have Philip Dayton L'Eyre Montserrat who is voided by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka. Anime fans are probably already familiar with Matsuoka as he is the voice of Kirito from Sword Art Online, Soma Yukihara from Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma, and Petelgeuse from Re:Zero, among other roles.
The next character is Vesture Kloff Di Laufen who is voiced by Shiro Saito. He is a veteran voice actor that voiced Yoruichi Shihouin from Bleach, Sorbet from Dragon Ball Super, and Biao Gong from Kingdom.
Finally, two new images of Albedo in her new design have been released on the Overlord website. These new designs feature Albedo in darker outfits.
Overlord is an anime series by Madhouse and is based on the ongoing light novel series of the same name by Satoshi Oshio.
The first season of the anime was released back in 2015, and it was followed up with seasons 2 and 3 which were released in 2018.
Overlord IV started airing on July 5, with the second episode being released on July 12. Episode 3 will release on Tuesday, July 19.
