Back in Nazarick, Pandora's Actor recounts in front of Ainz the events that have occurred since his battle with Riku Aganeia.
Albedo, who was listening in the background, is enraged at Pandora's Actor for kneeling in front of Riku while decked as Ainz.
Ainz praised Pandora's Actor's results before Albedo became angrier by the second. By kneeling, their opponents will perceive them as less of a threat, which will benefit their cause.
Ainz also wants to learn more about Riku because he doesn't fully understand how his powers work, particularly the World Isolating Barrier that Riku previously cast.
Ainz speculates that Riku used a world-level item because Albedo was the only one who was able to break through the barrier.
He compares Riku's ability to the Depictions of Nature and Society he has previously given to Aura.
However, Pandora's Actor interjected and informed Ainz that Riku's HP was reduced when he cast the barrier spell.
This prompted him to inquire whether it was a skill, to which Ainz replied that he had no knowledge of a world-level item that requires HP to activate.
To the surprise of the other NPC guardians, Ainz is willing to be defeated once more in order to gather information. Ainz believes that it is only necessary to ensure total victory over their enemies.
Despite the risks of their plan, Ainz confirmed that NPCs and people from the New World could be resurrected. However, he is unsure whether he has the ability to bring them all back to life.
Nonetheless, losing again in order to avoid a worse outcome, such as death, is completely justified.
Ainz informs everyone that he will travel to the royal capital and join Cocytus before they disband.
Albedo asks Ainz if he must personally visit Re-Estize, to which Ainz responds that he is very particular about his role as a villain.
Meanwhile, Princess Renner, Climb, and Brain visited the orphans to deliver her home-cooked stew. Despite the impending war, the caregivers thanked Princess Renner for her efforts.
Princess Renner sets out on her way home to rant about her meager efforts in the midst of the war. Climb, as expected, consoles Princess Renner by praising her good deeds.
Princess Renner rejoins the Blue Roses adventurers in the castle. She began conversing with Lakyus, Gagaran, and Evileye while Tia, Tina, and Brain went out to get some tea.
Surprisingly, Tia returned alone and handed Lakyus a suspicious-looking cup of tea.
Lakyus felt weak after just one sip, and Gagaran and Evileye took advantage of the situation by hitting her one after the other.
Princess Renner, unconcerned, asked Evileye why they had to harm Lakyus in front of her.
The truth is that Evileye and the rest of the Blue Roses no longer wish to take part in the battle against the Sorcerer Kingdom.
Evileye told Princess Renner flatly that they don't care about Re-Estize, which is why they're fleeing.
Only Lakyus insisted on remaining to protect the kingdom. To avoid trouble with Lakyus, Evileye used her Charm Person spell.
Before leaving, Evileye offered Princess Renner the opportunity to escape. However, she declined the offer and chose to remain and fulfill her royal duties to the Kingdom.
While the Blue Roses teleported out of the Kingdom, Brain Unglaus gave Climb the Razor Edge sword, despite his protests.
He also told Climb and Princess Renner that he would sneak past the Sorcerer King's army and fight him one-on-one.
At the same time, Brain expresses gratitude to Climb for saving his life when they first met Sebas.
Princess Renner decided to try swinging the Razor Edge sword after Brain left the castle, which surprised Climb.
Cocytus enters the royal capital with his army while Aura is making a move with her army of ferocious beasts.
Aura advances toward the royal capital's magician units, and orders Iris to trample every human he sees to death.
Halfway through, Cocytus met Brain Unglaus, who was determined to halt his progress toward the royal capital.
Cocytus prepares for battle by wielding his God Slaying Blade, while Brain drinks buff potions to help himself.
Unfortunately, Brain's True Nail Clipper attack was ineffective because the battle had already been decided. Cocytus easily defeated and killed Brain.
Cocytus decided to freeze Brain's body for the time being in honor of his bravery.
He believes Brain will be useful if he decides to serve under Ainz's banner in the future.
With no warriors left to defend the kingdom, Cocytus advances to the castle, freezing everything in his path.
