Jesse Williams Joins Only Murders in the Building Season 3

Deadline broke the news about Williams’ coming to the series’ third outing. However, it didn’t reveal his role’s name, though it revealed the documentary would be interested in Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel’s (Selena Gomez) latest murder case.

The actor is the second major addition to the upcoming new season after introducing Paul Rudd’s character as Ben Glenroy in the previous season finale.

Rudd will have a recurring role in the series as the latest victim.

Only Murders in the Building Season 3’s Latest Victim

On the play's opening night, Charles confronted Ben due to his problematic behavior.

“Stay away from her,” he warned. “I know what you did.”

Later, Ben collapsed and died. So, who killed Ben, and who was the “her” Charles referred to?

“Oh, I would love to tell you that,” series co-creator John Hoffman told TVLine.

“I really would love to tell you that. But I also like that question being posed in the minds of viewers in between Seasons 2 and 3,” he continued. “I would just say this: It is definitely a question that we asked ourselves, and we sprang forward with a very definite answer.”

Only Murders in the Building Season 3 Plotline

Only Murders in the Building Season 3 is expected to continue where the previous season left off.

After solving Bunny Folger’s (Jayne Houdyshell) case, it will feature a one-year time jump.

It will return to the theater where Ben’s death happened, and the trio tries to analyze the murder.
