One Piece Chapter 1,054 Recap
Some of the Akazaya Nine go where Ryokugyu is to prevent him from entering the capital. Raizo tells Denjiro that Ryokugyu is from the navy, and they're Luffy's enemies.
Ryokugyu is surprised that they know how the outside world works. He says a country not affiliated with the World Government doesn't have human rights, which is just how the world works.
Ryokugyu uses his Devil Fruit abilities to release more trees and flowers. He says humankind survived time and time again because of the existence of the inferior. He claims that "discrimination creates solace."
Ryokugyu says the law does not apply in Wano since they're an unaffiliated country, so it doesn't matter to him how many people he kills. Yamato shows up and hits Ryokuguy on the head. He says he won't let Ryokugyu ruin the celebration.
Ryokugyu asks him who he is, and Yamato says he is Kaido's son. Ryokugyu is surprised and shocked again when he sees a pink dragon. Momonosuke tries to do a Blast Breath but fails. Instead, he bites Ryokugyu.
Meanwhile, the Red Hair Pirates' ship is somewhere near Wano. The crew tells Shanks that they should go and see Luffy, considering how much he's grown. Shanks looks at Luffy's wanted poster and reminisces about the past.
Shanks says he doesn't want to see Luffy since they still have other matters to attend to. He also tells Beck that it's about time they go and claim the One Piece.
At the Navy HQ, the admirals are talking about Sabo, now called the Flame Emperor. The newspaper states that Sabo killed Cobra. In the Land of the Gods, it turns out that the revolutionaries were able to free Kuma as well.
Kurouma, the Naval Bureau of Investigation director, says they are still checking if there's a connection between Cobra's murder and Vivi's disappearance. It turns out that many are beginning to worship Sabo, and more cases of rebellion are emerging.
Amidst all the chaos, Akainu says he's determined to face whoever comes at them.

Ryokugyu beats Momonosuke. Yamato wishes to interfere, but Momonosuke says he shouldn't. Eventually, Ryokugyu manages to catch Raizo, Denjiro, Kawamatsu, and Nekomamushi.
Meanwhile, Robin, Law, and Tenguyama walk through a secret passageway in Tenguyama's secret room. Tenguyama is telling them about Wano's previous geographical layout.
Eventually, they reach the room where the Road Poneglyph is. Tenguyama tells them Pluton is somewhere deep below, but he's never seen it. He says to get Pluton out, Wano needs to open its borders.
Back to Ryokugyu and the others, Momonosuke manages to shoot a Blast Breath, and the others break free from Ryokugyu's grasp. Before they could continue fighting again, Ryokugyu senses Shanks' Conqueror's Haki.
Ryokugyu decides to leave since he will not fight Shanks. Yamato, Momonosuke, and the Akazaya Nine cheer. Meanwhile, it turns out Luffy and the others were watching the battle.
