Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis’ children’s former nanny has been making some shocking allegations against the exes, and Wilde’s new boyfriend, Harry Styles.
Most recently, the nanny claimed that Olivia Wilde decided to give up her puppy so she could be with Harry Styles. However, a spokesperson for the animal rescue shelter Mae Day Rescue clarified that this wasn’t the case.

Olivia Wilde Did Not Have Her Dog Adopted So She Could Prioritize Her Relationship With Harry Styles
Gordy was adopted to @oliviawilde at 2 months old, and after giving him much love and training and travel adventures, she realized that Gordy didn’t love the travel life and wasn’t happy around toddlers,” the animal rescue shelter wrote alongside a photo of Wilde’s former dog.
Wilde eventually realized that it would be better for her dog to live in a loving home. That’s why she got in touch with the animal shelter.
“Gordy had formed a very strong bond with his dog walker and in Gordy’s best interest and after much thought and consideration, he was rehomed to his Brooklyn dog walker. We pride ourselves on finding that perfect forever home for our Mae Day animals and every once in a while the animal is happier in a different environment and that’s OK. Olivia is a huge animal rescue advocate and rehomed Gordy out of compassion and love for him,” they said.

Other than the nanny’s claims that Wilde wanted to prioritize her relationship with Styles over taking care of her dog, the nanny also claimed that Sudeikis was seen crying uncontrollably after his split from Wilde. The exes have since denied the allegations.
“As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make up such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly. This is the unfortunate apex of a now, 18-month-long campaign of harassing us, as well as our loved ones, close friends, and colleagues. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone,” Wilde and Sudeikis said in a joint statement to Us Weekly.
Olivia Wilde Clarifies That Her Relationship With Jason Sudeikis Was Long Over Before She Met Harry Styles
Last month, Wilde also told Vanity Fair that the rumors about her leaving Sudeikis for Styles were not true.
“Our relationship was over long before I met Harry. Like any relationship that ends, it doesn’t end overnight. Unfortunately, Jason and I had a very bumpy road, and we officially dissolved the relationship towards the beginning of the pandemic,” she said.
The Don’t Worry Darling director also said that she and Sudeikis decided to continue co-parenting their kids during the pandemic. But this didn’t mean that they were still together.
“Once it became clear that cohabitating was no longer beneficial for the children, it became the responsible thing to not, because we could be better parents as friends who live in different houses,” she said.
