Will Han Solo cameo in the

Obi Wan

series?

Given the immediate proximity to

Solo: A Star Wars Story

, it is possible a Han Solo cameo could appear in the

Obi Wan

series.

That would be tough to explain in canon, as Obi Wan first meets Solo on Tatooine in

A New Hope

. Solo has made quite a few run-ins with Imperials, so it wouldn't be surprising if he annoyed Young Vader in some way around this time.

It is also rumored that

Commander Cody

will make an appearance in the

Obi Wan

series. He is expected to play a villainous role hunting down Obi-Wan Kenobi. As fans of the

Clone Wars

know, Cody was a leader of the Grand Army of the Republic and participated in many battles as well as rescuing Master Piell. He often accompanied Obi-Wan, such as at the Battle of Kiros. Sadly, after the Clone Wars and Order 66, Commander Cody became one of the first generations of Imperial Stormtroopers.

The

Obi Wan

series may delve into the timeline between these events where Commander Cody has to choose between duty and his long friendship with Obi Wan.

The

Obi Wan

release date

is not yet confirmed, but an early 2021 release is most likely. The

Obi Wan

series director

is Deborah Chow, who will be the lead for all episodes. The show will be streaming entirely on Disney+.
