The Walking Dead will officially end its more than a decade run this year, but the different worlds it’s about to create are just starting. It will spawn three upcoming spinoffs, including Norman ReedusDaryl spinoff, which now has its official title.

Since The Walking Dead began in 2020, it has become one of the largest zombie franchises in the world. In total, it has seven spinoffs, and Reedus has dropped a major detail about his new series.

In a post on Twitter, the actor gave a full look at the key art of his upcoming series, bearing its official title.

Called Daryl Dixon, the title is overlaid on a green and scratched-torn image of the Eiffel Tower. This just proves the show will be set in Paris.

A potential new series centering on Daryl was announced in September 2020. It was supposed to follow the story of Daryl and Carol (Melissa McBride), only that the latter stepped out of the project after learning the filming would be set in Europe.

McBride reasoned she couldn’t film that far away from home for so long. From there, the show was changed to entirely focus on Daryl alone.

With that said, McBride would no longer play a role in the new series. However, it may not mean that Carol will not be seen in the franchise.

With Daryl Dixon coming in 2023 and The Walking Dead ending in November, McBride may want to continue her character’s story or finish her storyline one way or another.

In fact, she may appear in the other upcoming spinoffs set in the U.S.

In a yet-to-be-titled spinoff, original cast Andrew Lincoln will also return to reprise his role as Rick, along with Danai Gurira’s Michonne. This show reportedly replaces the three movies centering on Rick.

However, there are no words yet on what the Rick and Michonne spinoff will be about.
