Death Stranding Has Just Gone Gold

If you were one of the many people who thought Death Stranding was going to get delayed, well, you'll be happy to know that the game has gone gold. This means development on the game has been completed, with only a couple of bugs and testing needed to make sure the finished product is smooth. Still, we all thought it was too good to be true when a release date was announced but we're happy to know that Hideo Kojima will keep his promise.

Kojima tweeted about the game being finished, showing everyone in Kojima Productions and a picture of himself showing the disc. Considering how excited people are about this PS4 game, one can't help but be nervous about its quality. We're sure that some fans won't like this game or think it's too pretentious but we'll all wait for the verdict once it comes out.

Whichever way you slice it, this is a huge win for Kojima since Death Stranding is the first game he's worked on since leaving Konami. Pretty much everyone knows about that bad breakup and how Konami tried everything they could to make Kojima miserable, going as far as to not let him accept an award for Metal Gear Solid V.

How's Konami these days? They just released Contra: Rogue Corps, an ugly top-down shooter that nobody seems to like. While not the worst game ever, it's clear that the company just does not care about the franchise's history anymore.

Death Stranding is coming out on November 15 and is currently a PS4 exclusive.
