To further hype the oncoming release of X-Men: Apocalypse this weekend, Fox has dropped a new TV commercial of the movie that shows a funny, deleted scene between Nightcrawler and his fellow young X-Men.
The quick sequence isn’t included in the movie’s final cut, but it portrays the rarely seen dynamics between the young X-Men that isn’t apparent in previous promos.
In it, Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-Mcphee) is seen screaming in pain after sipping a smoothie in a food court with his fellow young mutants. To calm him down, Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) explains that his experience is just a simple brain freeze, to which Nightcrawler gets even more panicked thinking his brain has been literally frozen.

While the deleted scene features the younger X-Men generation’s dynamics with each other, it also showcases director Bryan Singer’s renewed humorous take on the X-Men franchise. The scene may have not been included in the movie, but I’m sure that, and tons of other comic scenes will be included in the movie’s DVD/Blu-ray release.
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters this weekend, May 27.
