New Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Game Reportedly in Development

Star Wars gamers might finally be getting what they've been asking for since 2004. A new leak reveals that Lucasfilm Games is currently developing a new Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game.

B.O.B the Podcast has just revealed that there is a possible new Knights of the Old Republic game that is currently being developed. Although they declined to say where exactly they received the information, Bespin Bulletin stated that they were confident about the intel provided by a few unnamed sources behind the scenes.

But what can gamers expect in the new Knights of the Old Republic title? There aren't many details about the project just yet. However, it was strongly suggested that EA would not develop the game. Interestingly, Bloomberg's Jason Schreier corroborated the information.

This is an exciting possibility for gamers who have been waiting for a new Knights of the Old Republic title. After all, the last game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was released back in 2004 and people have been begging for a new title since then. It didn't help that Knights of the Old Republic III was cancelled.

Although we love the idea of getting a new title, it is important to point out that LucasArts has not yet confirmed that another Knights of the Old Republic game is being developed. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

What do you think of a possible Knights of the Old Republic sequel? Will it be a remake of the first title or should it be a completely new game? Sound off in the comments below.
