Lilly James and Sebastian Stan are bringing the sexy 90s back as they play Baywatch star Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in Hulu’s new miniseries, Pam & Tommy. The two showed off their sexy looks in the new television show, which chronicled the volatile relationship between the two 90s celebrities and their infamous sex tape’s unplanned release.

Bringing Back The 90s

Both James and Stan are nearly unrecognizable in the new trailer, which dropped on YouTube Thursday. The trailer opens with a mullet-wearing Seth Rogan, who plays the man who stole the couple’s sex tape from their house. Parks and Recreation’s Nick Offerman is also featured in the first few scenes in the trailer.

Confirmed cast members of the Pam & Tommy series include Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay, Pepi Sonuga, Spenser Granese, and Mozhan Marnò. The new comedy series is directed by I, Tonya director, Craig Gillespie. The leaked sex tape was a big deal back in the 90s, particularly for Anderson. It will be curious to see how the series will make light of the scandal, given how sensitive it was when it was first leaked.

While Anderson was panicking after their video was leaked – a moment nicely portrayed in the trailer, Lee seemed to feel victorious after it was spread. The Cinderella actress perfectly played the part of a younger Anderson in the trailer, while The Falcon and the Winter Soldier actor looked stunning as the tattooed musician.

Lee May Be Stoked, But Anderson Isn’t As Enthusiastic

Lee said in an interview in September that he was excited to see the series. He said he is actually friends with Stan, and from what he heard about Pam & Tommy, he was excited for people to see just how crazy everything had gotten back then.

“From what he’s told me, really beautiful story. I think a lot of people would think it’s one thing, but it’s really about privacy and how things got crazy then. There are different laws now,” Lee said.

While Lee may be “stoked” about the movie chronicling their struggles with the scandal, Anderson is reportedly not so happy about it. The former Playboy Magazine model reportedly doesn’t think much about the series. Sources familiar with the matter said Anderson thinks the entire project is a “cheap knock-off” of their lives.

Several celebrities and friends of Anderson came to her defense and bashed the show when it was first announced. Musician Courtney Love called the series “Outrageous,” adding that it was causing Anderson to relive her trauma. Love, who was previously married to the late Kurt Kobain, claimed that the scandal had destroyed Anderson’s life, and now they are just making a joke about it.
