Disney+ is bringing a bunch of Marvel content in August 2022, with even more shows following the success of hits like WandaVision, Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, and Ms. Marvel. Unfortunately, one Star Wars series originally set to premiere this month was pushed back to September.
But before the Marvel shows and the new Star Wars series arrive, the Toy Story spin-off Lightyear will premiere on Aug. 3. Starting Aug. 10, Disney+ is premiering I Am Groot, a collection of shorts starring Marvel's fan-favorite character Baby Groot. Vin Diesel voices the tree-like creature, reprising the role he initially played in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy and recently voiced in Thor: Love and Thunder.
One week after I Am Groot's premiere, Disney+ keeps expanding its Marvel offerings with She Hulk: Attorney at Law, the highly-anticipated series starring Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) as Jennifer Walters. She-Hulk premieres on Aug. 17, and also stars Jameela Jamil, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Mark Ruffalo, who's reprising his Avengers role as Bruce Banner / The Hulk.
At Marvel's San Diego Comic-Con panel, a new trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was released.
The new Star Wars series Andor was originally set to release on Aug. 31, but it was recently pushed back to September 21. The series stars Diego Luna as Cassion Andor, whose story is told five years before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
