First appeared in the first episode of 2021's Disney+ animated series What If, the first look at the live-action version of Captain Carter was finally unveiled in the latest trailer.

The scene shows Wanda fighting someone who wields the renowned Captain America shield, adding stir to rumors that this is a variant of Peggy Carter wherein an alternate universe, got injected with the super-soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers.

The rumors behind Captain Carter have been swirling around even before the first trailer of the film has arrived. Now that the latest trailer unveils a character carrying the Captain America shield, it looks like we will get to see Captain America once again, in a sense.

The mysterious appearance of a yellow entity fighting Wanda has baffled the fans ever since the first trailer for the Doctor Strange sequel dropped. Attentive fans have heightened the character and came up with several theories that this mysterious entity might be the Fantastic Four's Human Torch, a superior Iron-Man variant, and a Captain Marvel variant in the form of Monica Rambeau.

Well, fans got that correct as the recent trailer features a clearer look on the yellow entity, which evidently looks like Monica Rambeau. Our theory believes that this version of Monica Rambeau is Captain Marvel in her own alternate universe, and works as a member of the Illuminati which explains why she is fighting Wanda in the scene.

With Marvel not backing up in confirming two more characters in the upcoming highly-anticipated sequel means that there are so much more characters who will appear that will blow everyone's mind. More rumored characters include John Krasinski as Reed Richards, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man, X-Men's Wolverine, and fan-beloved Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will premiere in theaters on May 4.
