New DC League of Super-Pets Trailer Shows How the Heroes Gained Their Powers

As we are anticipating the upcoming DCEU films that are set to be released this year, there is also the animated DC League of Super-Pets which will center on a new group of superheroes in the DC Universe although they are animals this time around. Now, we have another new look at the upcoming film.

Warner Bros. has released the new trailer for DC League of Super-Pets. In this new footage, they showed how the titular group was able to gain their powers which would lead them to save the world after the Justice League was captived while Lil Nas X's "Industry Baby" is playing all throughout. We also saw Krypto and Ace bantering at each other and a glimpse at Lulu the Guinea Pig, the antagonist of the film.

This brand new look at the film covered the story more as it gave us an idea about their origins and the conflict that they are going to face as they become the unlikeliest group of heroes in the DC Universe. Based on what they've shown, it looks like it is going to be an entertaining film at the very least and it targets the younger audience who will have a great time seeing it no matter what.

The film has a star-studded voice cast including Dwayne Johnson (as Krypto), Kevin Hart (as Ace), Diego Luna (as Chip), Natasha Lyonne (as Merton), Vanessa Bayer (as PB), John Krasinski (as Superman), Marc Maron (as Lex Luthor), Keanu Reeves (as Batman), Kate McKinnon (as Lulu), Jameela Jamil, Ben Schwartz, and Thomas Middleditch.

Jared Stern is writing and directing the film, sharing the duty on the former with John Whittington and the latter with Sam Levine. Johnson and Stern are also producing alongside Patricia Hicks, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia. John Requa, Glenn Ficarra, and Nicholas Stoller also serve as executive producers.
