Fans are not the only ones who are thrilled about Going Merry. Mackenyu, who will play Roronoa Zoro in the Netflix series, previously admitted that he was overwhelmed to see the ship in real life.

"When I stepped aboard the Going Merry, I can’t wait to show it off to all my friends," Mackenyu admitted with a laugh. "It was awesome and hopefully it'll be a special experience for the fans."

"We brought One Piece to life and we hope you'll enjoy it too," he added.
