Anna entered the New York socialite circle by creating a very ambiguous back story claiming that she had a $60 million trust fund. The wealthy and the gullible danced on her palm, and Anna was able to swindle hundreds of thousands of dollars from her friends. She was then arrested in 2017 for grand larceny charges.
