After a rough first quarter, Netflix hopes to lure back subscribers in May 2022 with the return of some of the streaming giant's most popular series. The most highly-anticipated Netflix Original coming that month is Stranger Things Season 4, which will premiere its first part on May 27. You can read more details about the new season here.
After taking a three-year gap between the third and fourth seasons, the sci-fi horror series will dive deeper into the dark world of the Upside Down as the gang enters the dangers of high school and adulthood. Five new episodes will be available in May, but the final four episodes will arrive on July 1.
Craving for more sci-fi? Love, Death, & Robots: Vol. 3 will arrive on Netflix in May 20. The critically-acclaimed animated anthology promises to feature futuristic stories. STARZ's Outlander Season 5 is also arriving May 10. The time-travelling drama is almost done airing Season 6 on Starz, but don't expect the latest season to arrive until April-May 2024.
The Mexican crime-drama series Who Killed Sara? will also be returning for Season 3. In the new season, Alex discovers that his sister's body isn't where it's supposed to be. New clues lead him to a mysterious entity called Medusa. Will Alex finally discover who's behind Sara's disappearance? That show will arrive on May 18.
One of Netflix's most popular reality shows, The Circle, will be returning for Season 4. This time, there's a twist with the contestants. While contestants in the past have pretended to be celebrities (or reality stars from other Netflix shows being themselves, this new season will feature more "VIP guests" in the mix. Whether if they're lesser known influencers or actual celebrities, we'll have to wait when the new season drops on May 10.
