Netflix Geeked Week 2022 is only a few weeks away and a teaser for the upcoming virtual event has just been dropped. Not surprisingly, it puts the spotlight on upcoming shows that will stream on the service this year. Amazingly, the teaser also gives us an awesome look at Gwendoline Christie's Lucifer in The Sandman!
The Netflix Geeked Week 2022 teaser celebrates being a geek while giving viewers a glimpse at the shows that will be highlighted during the five-day event. It's mostly just old footage but it does confirm we'll be getting updates from The Sandman, The Umbrella Academy, Manifest, The Gray Man, Alice in Borderland, Day Shift, Resident Evil, The Sea Beast and more.
Interestingly, it looks like The Sandman is getting special treatment as we get to see loads of footage from the series scattered throughout the teaser. It even concludes with Dream finally meeting up with Lucifer, who is played by former Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie.
Netflix Geeked Week 2022 will highlight a new theme each day. The schedule is as follows:
Monday, June 6 (Day 1) - Series
Tuesday, June 7 (Day 2) - Film
Wednesday, June 8 (Day 3) - Animation
Thursday, June 9 (Day 4) - Stranger Things
Friday, June 10 (Day 5) - Games
So what else can we expect during Netflix Geeked Week 2022? It is set to cover over 60 Netflix projects including One Piece.
There have been previous speculations that the cast of the live-action One Piece series will take part in a panel during the event. In addition to that, the first teaser for the highly anticipated show could finally be dropped during the virtual event. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
