The only proper reaction after tonight’s episode is to ask: When does NCIS Season 19, Episode 10 air? Well, we’re with you that. And along those lines, we’re also eager to know if 2022 would bring changes to the long-running CBS show.

Episode 8 Quick Recap

Sandra Holdren's body was found at the Naval Station in Norfolk. Holdren was a civilian. She was discovered dead from a gunshot wound to the head, indicating that she had been murdered. Given she was slain on Naval grounds, her death becomes a case for NCIS. But why was she there, they couldn't figure out.

And there’s the hologram: Holdren had created an interactive hologram of herself, complete with memories and personality. They had to question her hologram who killed her if they wanted to know who did it. The hologram is identical to her. It also moves in the same way she does.

She'd made it because she wanted to leave something for her daughter and grandson in the event that she passed away. She was dying, according to the autopsy. As a result, she developed the hologram with the understanding that it would be required. She just didn't know when it would happen.

The hologram was questioned by the team. They were able to persuade her to admit that she had received a threatening letter, but she refused to say what the letter was about.

NCIS Season 19, Episode 10 Release Date

So, where do we go from there? Let’s start by getting some of the bad news out of the way: tonight's Collective Memory is the final one of the year. There will be no Christmas installment this year, so we'll have to wait until early 2022 to find out what's in store.

After the Dec. 6 episode, the show is taking a four-week break until the first week of January.

NCIS Season 19, Episode 10 will air on Monday, January 3 at 8 p.m., with the show keeping to its new timeslot of 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT.

If there is a silver lining here, it is that the show will, at the very least, return sooner rather than later. We're hoping for at least two (if not more) episodes to air during that month. With the Winter Olympics coming up in February, we have a feeling there will be a break around that time.
