Nam Joo Hyuk is about to make his big return next month. The Twenty-Five, Twenty-One star made his first public appearance after his bullying controversy for the online press conference of his upcoming movie, Remember, on Monday, September 26.

The press conference was broadcast online, featuring the two male leads, Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Min, and director Lee Il Hyung. The three gamely answered questions about Remember.

Nam Joo Hyuk Discusses New Movie

Nam Joo Hyuk is back at work after Twenty-Five, Twenty-One, and the bullying scandal that shook his career.

Now that his back on the set, what can the 28-year-old say about it?

"The atmosphere at the set was phenomenal,” Nam Joo Hyuk said about the movie’s production, via AllKpop. “Lee Sung Min was really approachable and friendly. Sometimes, he even took pictures of me dozing off."

Nam Joo Hyuk’s Return to the Big Screen

Nam Joo Hyuk will soon return to the big screen through the movie, Remember.

The film follows the story of Pil Joo (Lee Sung Min), an 80-year-old guy with Alzheimer’s disease. Ha lost everything he got to pro-Japanese groups during the Japanese occupation of Korea. From there, he’s now plotting his revenge.

He will be befriending In Gyu (Nam Joo Hyuk), a 20-year-old guy who works with him at a family restaurant and unintentionally ends up being part of his call for vengeance.

In Gyu will be accepting a huge paycheck from Pil Joo for rides for one week. However, while driving around, In Gyu will get caught on a CCTV and is accused of being a suspect.

Despite their closeness, Pil Joo will learn that the In Gyu he knows is just one side of him. A mysterious case will suddenly come up at every place he drives him, making him more confused.

So, fans are about to see Nam Joo Hyuk showing a variety of emotions as his character falls deeper into Pil Joo’s plot.

“I felt charmed that this was a character I hadn’t done until now,” he said, via Soompi. “The process of expressing a variety of emotion changes in a situation he unintentionally gets wrapped up in was interesting.”

Remember will hit the theaters on Wednesday, October 26.
